There is always this fascination to watch a lotus and it is not an everyday affair. The reflection of the trees in the water makes the photo beautiful.

Thank you Anamika. You know I spent a long time admiring this still reflection on the water as it gave me so much peace! This was in a water enclosure inside the hotel lounge. I loved how it was standing so straight and thats how the pic happened.

I loved these lotuses when I sighted them in Kerala and saw plenty in Bangalore too!!! I dont find them in my part of country at all!!!

Yes, you’re right, Shalz. They have loads in this part of the country … in Kerala, esp the backwaters, which are full of them. I absolutely love these and lose no opportunity to go clicking whenever I see them. 😀
