Staying grounded and yet, growing tall. Staying connected to the roots and yet, reaching out to the sky. Holding oneself up there, braving the wind, strong and form and never yielding and yet, ready to bend when needed. Being unique and yet, comfortable being oneself.
Such timeless wisdom that holds true for us, humans too! What do you think?

Amidst the breathtaking Sakura blossoms, this tree stood out for me for being somewhat bare yet as beautiful as any other!
A leaf out of our Japan Diaries from April this year: Nothing could be more beautiful that the fresh morning air and blue skies and the gorgeous tree-lined Philosophers’ Path in Kyoto. We played touristy, as we walked on at an unhurried pace, ready with our cameras, our notepads and eager eyes, all too willing to absorb all that the city had to offer.

Love being a part of this, Parul. I enjoy sharing my photos for #TTL and seeing so many amazing posts from the other bloggers and even learning new things that I never knew existed before. 🙂

What a beautiful blue sky, something we don’t see much of some seasons. I would love so much to see the cherry blossoms in Japan one day, but all trees are there to teach us lesson.

So glad you like them, Alana. Who doesn’t? They’re so pretty and so reminiscent of the ephemeral beauty of life itself. The cherry blossom season in Japan is very short-lived (lasting only a week in a given year) Grateful that we had a chance to see them!

That’s us, humans!

So refreshing to see that tree against the backdrop of the blue, blue sky! The wisdom from a tree is boundless! Beautiful message!
Thank you, Esha! (and thank you for that sweet tweet!)

Staying grounded, yet tall… love the phrase and how well you connected with humans. I agree it is so important to be grounded no matter how high we reach in life. Even the eagle that flies so high comes down to the ground to eat. Its a great quality in persons – I admire people despite their positions, designations, whatever it is they are so grounded and humane… thanks for sharing such a lovely picture and thought provoking post.

I think we can learn so much from trees…. they’ve silently witnessed it all…..

Greenery up against the blue sky always makes for a great picture. With that nugget of wisdom, it gets all the more better. Sakura is a new name I learn of a tree today 🙂
