‘Sunset at Sentosa Island.’

Sentosa Island is Singapore’s mega theme-park located on what was once the domain of tropical forest and rocky coasts. Today, the place has been redeveloped into a sprawling amusement park where locals and tourists throng in large numbers to swim, sunbathe, glide down water slides, stroll through butterfly parks and intriguing exhibits in wax museums, or simply to enjoy the varied fare of the gastronomic delights served at the numerous eateries and restaurants inside the island’s amusement centre.

It can easily take one whole day, to visit all the various amusement sites. But, that’s not all— Sentosa is also a great place to stay overnight, if you’re keen to get away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore city. At least, a lot of locals do that, we’re told. We preferred to take the cable car to go to Sentosa and the view from the top, true to our expectations, just blew our minds away! It was so amazing that we went back for more! This sunset shot with the cable cars dotting the gorgeous twilight sky was taken while we were heading home after an exhausting but extremely exciting day.
