With raging floods everywhere in the Eastern and Northern parts of the country, I’m only hoping and wishing that things come to normalise soon and that the those affected may find the strength to get on with their lives after the spate subsides. My thoughts with all those families in distress at the moment. At such times, I’m only grateful, just deeply grateful that we can have normal days and be contented with whatever we’re blessed with.
We’ve had only grey skies mostly this past one week, with only very brief spells of sunshine and an occasional flash of colour at sunset, on an odd day. Thankfully, my camera was handy and I was able to grab a quick shot in time. So, here’s the sky shot from the week.
So, how has it been in your part of the world? I’d love to invite you to share your sky shots if you’ve been taking any. As for me, well, I’m looking forward to enjoying some gorgeous pictures posted by professional and amateur photographers from all over the world. Wish to join me? Then, come along and let’s hop over to the link below and enjoy!
Have fun, and have a wonderful weekend too!

Beautiful skyscape. I hope the monsoon rains don’t bring too much destruction.

It has been raining in our part of the world also. This week I posted some rainbow images. We’ve been lucky so far with no flooding. It will rain during the night and during the day it can be in the 70s or 80s with the sun out or sometimes it is gray all day. No need to water the flowers. The rain has been good for the grass and trees.

Yes, too much rain and too much havoc just making things worse, isn’t it? My flowers also love it when there is ample rain here. Will hop over to your big to see your rainbow images now!

Wow. This is indeed gorgeous. I think Bangalore is the perfect city to capture such stunning vistas….

Thanks, Shalz! Sometimes I do think we Bangaloreans are lucky to have our share of the colourful skies. 🙂

So true, Thomas. It is heart wrenching to see what our people are going through in the face of such calamities. But Nature continues to amaze us!

Beautiful capture. There is a lot of flooding all over the world, it seems, with weather that makes little sense.

Thank you, Alana. Yes, sadly, a lot of people are suffering at the hands of natural calamities … we can do our bit to help them but unfortunately, it seems we’re doing too little at the moment.
