We look up at the same sky and see such different things.
These are some sky shots from the week gone by. As always, in spite of the endless number of things that have kept me busy, taking time out for a break every now and then, looking out for a magical sky, being ever prepared to grab a sky shot —have all been instrumental in helping me collate my skywatch collection of photos.
Seeing the sunset today made me pensive but kept me calm. And as I watched the day end, I had the option to either take it for granted or take it with a grateful heart. Well, I chose the latter and I would continue to do so, for as long as I live! How about you?

Such spectacular shots, Esha. I loved the second one the most! Is it that you live in a beautiful place or that you have a knack of capturing the best. I know, it’s the latter 🙂

Thanks, Shilpa. Glad you like that one. I am somewhat bemused reading your thoughts…you are right…I do live in a beautiful part of the city…and I try to see and capture whatever comes my way! Do visit Bangalore sometime. Will be lovely to meet you and show you around. 🙂

Dripping with beauty! So serene and calm these sunset shots are, Esha. Watching such a sight would make you smile from the heart, wouldn’t it? ❤️

So filled with gratitude for whatever beauty I get to see and enjoy, Vinitha. I never take it for granted knowing that everything is so transient including our lives and the world we inhabit!!

Your thoughts are so true. Nearly everything in life can be taken for granted or with a grateful heart and our choices greatly influence our contentment and joy and also those around us.
Esha thank you for your encouraging comment on my blog, very grateful.

I enjoyed the second picture, with its beautiful orange. The sun gives us so much!
Esha M Dutta
Thank you so very much, Alana. You’re right, we get so much from the sun…something we realise only when we pause to think about it.

Pretty skies! I like the big, sweeping clouds in the second shot.

Although each of these pictures are superb, my personal favourite is the first one. Catching the Orange tint of sunset or sunrise in clouds is marvelous. Happy to see these pictures, Esha.

Thanks for your appreciation. Happy to know you liked that first one, Arvind. That’s from yesterday actually. I also took a few shots on my DSLR yesterday to compare the shots with the mobile clicks. Will post them in the coming days. 🙂

You mean same scenes with both devices? That’ll be great, Esha! Looking forward to seeing them.
