Sharing a snapshot of Sinquerim beach in North Goa, where I got to spend four gorgeous evenings on a recent trip.

Skywatch Friday #15

What makes this beach unique is that it is one of the least crowded beaches in the area. Though the days were very hot and humid, the long walks along the beach during the evenings were the most  pleasant experiences we’ve ever had. The roaring sea with the splashing waves crashing on the yellow sand beach, against an orange, golden sky was a sight to see. Now, back in the city, it is that marvellous sunset view we had on our last day of stay that haunts me.

The sky changed colours so rapidly within the blink of an eye – the vast scale of the sea is impossible to capture within a frame, so all I tried was to capture the essence of the evening, to give you a taste of what it was like. If you’ve been there before, you’ll know how the small pathway along the Aguada Fort leads one to a beautiful view of the ocean.

Thank you so much for the award, Sunita and for considering Soul Talk worthy of this! I am blessed to have my readers and my well wishers on my blogging journey as I gather experiences and share perspectives on the varied facets of life through my blog. I am truly grateful to you for being there encouraging me during the A-Z Challenge and beyond and even more so, to know that you found so much joy through my posts that I could never have fathomed otherwise! I humbly accept this award and will, on my part fulfil the requirements through a post to keep it rolling and going forward. I’m still on a blogging break at the moment, attending to my pressing offline commitments, so will do the needful as soon I’m back in action from mid-June onwards. And, by the way, I am yet to reach that magical place where I have a 1000 followers, so I still ‘qualify’ to be counted in, amongst the nominees 🙂
Thank you once again…your nomination truly made my day/week/month!!
Happy Blogging to you as well 🙂

You’re right Sunita. Houseguests, visiting in-laws who are aging and need care, in addition to my son -this is where my focus lies these days. This evening, tried to block out the noise, and shut myself off for an hour to write something…hopefully one post will emerge which I can send you fr the guest post 🙂

This is a gorgeous capture. Did you use a cell phone and is it unedited ? Loved the colours – deep pink

Thank you so much, Sunita. Yes, shot on my iPhone6…absolutely unedited and a very rare colour combo as well!

Wow! That’s simply wow. Very often I capture something only to find it doesn’t look so fantastic in the photo. Your magenta sunset was really fantastic

The iPhone pics come out sharp and clear even in low light conditions actually. Thanks again, Sunita 🙂
