“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great Love.”
—Mother Teresa
Have you ever thought how sometimes, the smallest things take up the most room in our hearts?
The beauty of small things is that they happen slowly and demand very little of us at any given point in time, and yet, they make us realise how things are doable, particularly when we are overwhelmed with the weight of things that we’ve been putting off for long.
Have you been tackling the small things well? If you have, then, I’m pretty sure you are happy with the way things are going for you. I haven’t been doing great lately, but, now, as I’m trying to get my focus back into things that really matter most, I’m at peace. There is some progress, for sure, even if it has been slow and I’m pleased that without giving in to despondency, I’m taking it all, one at a time. I have shut myself off from a host of mindless people and things, dead habits and negativity, even though I have days when the battle is just one-sided and I find I’m losing it all. But, then there are good days and those are the days when things fall into place effortlessly. I realise how fragile our lives are and how vulnerable we are, to change and uncertainty. Some days, simply accepting this truth and moving on seems to be the best thing to do. Trust me, learning to accept life as it comes might sound easy bis in fact, one of the most challenging things to do. But, trust me when I say, no matter how hard it is, it is every bit worth it. I’m still a WIP but I can vouch for it!
It’s Friday and I’m back with two sky captures from the week—a sunrise and a sunset. The overcast skies have been nothing short of dramatic here at my end but thanks to the occasional spell of shine amid the rain, I have no reason to complain.
Nothing like soaking in the bliss and serenity of a beautiful sky and enjoy the fleeting moment.
If you happen to stop by the blog, I hope you enjoy these sky pictures. And if you decide to leave your thoughts/comments/feedback for me, that’d be really lovely! So, here goes…
That’s all for this week. Hopefully, once the rains are less frequent, I might be able to grab a few more sky shots and share them in the coming weeks.

Beautiful skies and wonderful narrative, Esha. In fact, I have been focused on the little things. Sometimes they do pile up, don’t they? And it is so true that together they add up to the big things. I definitely felt happier checking them on my list–long pending things.
Thank you for sharing those lovely skies. Nature is such an artist!

Lovely capture. The sky is a quick-changing maverick here in Singapore, and it brings endless fascination.

Thank you, Damyanti. I loved capturing the changing sky colours of the beautiful Autumn sky in Singapore last year. Did post some earlier. 🙂
