Life is all about taking risks! Otherwise, what’s the joy of living a mundane life. Although, I do worry about these birds sitting on the wires. Poor things they probably don’t even know that their life is at risk.

Well said, Vinodini. We all take risks, don’t we? So are these birds taking it today! They are blissfully unaware of what is awaiting them! A human can at least anticipate the course of things to come. What can birds do?

I love what you said, Debbie. We should indeed celebrate our uniqueness, but how many are willing to follow that, Debbie? My 14 yo wouldn’t and every day we have a battle. I think I learnt my lesson when I crossed 40 and knew that I was going to do my thing no matter what anybody said. Thank you for your lovely wishes. Had a great week. Hope you had one too!

Those are too many pigeons in the photo. What attracts me in it is the lines going out in different directions, some overlapping, some crossing and that white ball (sun) showing off it roundness among the straight lines. Some geometry is at play here.
We all know the right answer, the answer which will come from our heart. But then how do we live? We continue to live in the safety of numbers and thus lead a life inconspicuous.

Thank you, Anamika! I love tram wires and the way they criss-cross at junctions. In Kolkata, it is everywhere especially in the older parts of the city. I guess we are all guilty as charged. Living in fear sometimes and sometimes braving it all and risking everything we have to live fearlessly. Both states are true isn’t it?

About taking risks – I believe it’s better to risk it than live with the fear of failure, but unfortunately, I am currently living in the fear of the risk, failure, and the strength to get a move on. Talk about a hypocrite, huh!

Yes, I can relate to your state of mind. We are all there sometime or the other, you know and that dilemma of risk vs fear always plays havoc internally but still we brave it and so will you, eventually!
