“Take only memories. Leave only footprints.”

#WordlessWednesday 71

I love walking. It keeps me fit and is good for the mind, body and soul. But, these days, I’m also learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things that are not meant for me. I find that so liberating! What about you? What’s your reason for walking?

*********

If you are new to #WordlessWednesday, but would like to participate, here’s how you can join Natasha and me—Just follow our three easy steps:

  1. Post a picture on your blog that speaks for itself. It could be from your adventures, experiments, life’s quirky moments, travels or just plain random shots. Absolutely anything that stoked your being.
  2. Add our badge to your post and add a backlink to our posts.
  3. We’d love it if you read, comment and share all the posts linked here.

See you on the other side of the frame.

Happy #WW. 🙂

It’s very necessary to clean out ones ‘house’ once in a while!

    Thank you for the reminder.

    Learning that time and again.
Must do. Much needed in life.
I like to walk too, on the terrace mostly, alone with my musings and reflections.

Thanks, Pratikshya. Yes, it is much needed. What better way to spend time with oneself!

Love these line. <3 I have been doing the same now for the last few years and so much at peace and contained within. :)))

Much love, light and laughter your way. xoxox

Liked the thought, “sound of feet walking away from things that are not meant for me”. When we go for the walk, I suppose the mind liberates itself from shackles of mundane thinking and works wonders to spring out such beautiful musings.

    • Esha M Dutta

Yes, Anagha. Tearing oneself free from shackles is an amazing feeling, right? Thanks for stopping by the blog and sharing your thoughts. 🙂

I walk for exercise, for transportation (I did a lot of walking when I lived in New York City) and because it helps me think. I’ll be posting in a few hours, when it becomes Wednesday where I live.

That’s lovely to hear from you, Alana. Walking opens my mind to clarity and I feel I am better equipped to tackle the day.
