Thanks a lot, Vasantha. You’re right about the riot of colours in that leaf. Quite a mix, isn’t it?

So beautiful Esha. Reminds me of a maple leaf fluttering away in autumn 🙂

Wow, that’s a lovely shot. The leaf looks kinda brittle, but beautiful.
Esha M Dutta
Thanks, Shantala. It was, somewhat brittle. Autumn is such a beautiful season anywhere in the world.
Alana
Beautiful capture, in the golden light.
Esha M Dutta
Thanks, Alana. The setting sun brought in a haze of gold and the brown of the leaf just lit up bright.
BellyBytes
This looks like a butterfly! What a delicately papery lead
Esha M Dutta
Yes, Sunita, it was very delicate and almost about to fall off when I stepped over the foliage on the ground to take the shot. Glad you liked it. 🙂
Anamika Agnihotri
The colour of autumn is fantastic. Nature paints this world in beautiful colours.
The leaf in the image looked like a butterfly to me at first glance.
Esha M Dutta
It really is, isn;t it Anamika, even though everything in Nature begins to slowly fade away and die in Autumn and yet, I feel it leaves us with the hope that after Winter is over, spring is not very far behind. Now that you say, yes, it does resemble a butterfly in a way. Thanks for joining us with your wordless picture, Anamika. I couldn’t comment on your post, so mentioning it here.
Shirley Corder
Beautiful. A change of seasons depicted in one leaf! Thankful Thursday Week 21 and how to make your post actionable.
Parul Thakur
What a stunning shot. Absolutely beautiful, Esha. The Sun ray kind of adds hope to autumn. Isn’t it? 🙂
Esha M Dutta
Thank you so much, Parul. Yes, the sun rays do add to the colour of the dying leaves and make them even more pretty. Hope? Yes, I believe so too.
Pratikshya
