A Beautiful Tree in Osaka | #ThursdayTreeLove

A Man doesn’t plant a tree for himself. He plants it for posterity.

Thanks to Parul and her fortnightly photo feature, I now look forward to sharing my tree pictures collected from my early morning walks in the beautiful neighbourhood that we previously lived in, to random shots taken during the daily commutes and, of course, from our travels.

Today’s photo is one from my travel collection—it’s a beautiful tree, I spotted in Osaka.

It was a partially cloudy morning, we were almost walking past this beautiful tree, admiring the beautiful castle in the distance when I happened to lay my eyes on this rather uniquely-shaped tree. It was a split-second decision to go behind the lens and grab one quick shot of it before we headed off to join the serpentine queue that would take us into the breathtakingly beautiful 16th-century Castle.

What do you think of the tree? Isn’t it rather unusual? And, in case you happen to know the name of this tree, please do share it in the comments below.

I don’t know the name of the tree but it has such character. I suspect it might be hundreds of years old. A treasure.

What a lovely one. Looks the the tree is a happy one. The way you shared how you click is most often how I click when I am with VT. He walks ahead and I am always trailing clicking a tree picture or a flower 🙂
Thank you for joining, Esha. This is a lovely entry.

It does look like this tree is dancing, and also reaching out. Very expressive!

It feels like the tree is growing along to a rhythm. Like, there’s music playing around and the tree grows as per the musical beats!
