My Monsoon Sky | #SkywatchFriday

385 Views 22 Comments

As part of my resolve to make skywatching a part of my daily routine, here is a sky shot from this morning.

I actually woke up late this morning, because the exhaustion from yesterday had forced me to lie in a little longer than usual before I eventually crawled out of bed. But, instead of heading straight to the washroom, I walked up to the living room. Although the curtains were drawn, they seemed to be reflecting a vibrant splash of colours from the Eastern sky. The sky was on fire. But it was the beautiful reflection on the lake that had caught my eye!

What do you think about my skyscape? Do you also love taking sky shots on the go? Do you “plan” sky captures when you’re out and about?

Stunning! Not sure we plan; on vacations we will go to certain places (like the shore of a lake) and hope the conditions are right.

    • Esha MD

Oh ok. That’s probably what many do. I always keep my fingers crossed on vacations—hoping for ideal photo-friendly conditions!

This is an incredible shot, Esha. How you get anything done with such gorgeous views right outside your window is beyond my understanding. I am glad you decided to click this and share with us. Hey, which camera you used to capture this fabulous picture?

    • Esha MD

Thank you very much, dear Vinitha! This view is from our new home. I love the mornings when we are not plagued by worries and health scares which has been happening ever since we moved in end-May! I used my iPhone to click it as I felt too groggy to go for my DSLR at that early hour.
