“Once you have tasted the sky, you will forever look up.”
—Leonardo Da Vinci

Skywatching almost always brings me joy. An unparalleled bliss. Not that other things don’t. But, I find as I grow older, I get drawn into Nature more easily and more effortlessly than most other things. As someone who prefers silence to cacophony any day, I like to shut myself away from gadgets and technology in the evenings to soak in the perfect bliss and enjoy the sounds of nature instead, never mind the occasional car or two that zips past us!

That is not to say that its the only way to find bliss. In fact, there isn’t any one way of finding bliss. It all differs from person to person. To me, it is a matter of taking time for myself, pausing for a minute or two, reflecting, reviewing and ruminating on the day, or perhaps revisiting a memorable time in the recent past, stopping to realise that it is in these quiet moments that we find our peace, solace and happiness from the stresses and the pressures that our everyday life brings.

Skywatching always does this to me. As I sit by my living room window watching my slice of the sky at sundown, I send out a prayer to the Universe, conveying my thoughts and my gratitude to the forces that be. This sky capture is just another random sky shot, one of the many that I’m sharing with you all today. Happy Skywatching if you’re like me! If there are other things that bring you bliss, do share in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you and give your methods a try too. 🙂

Linking up with SkywatchFriday where you will find some amazing pictures shared by sky lovers from all over the world.
