Such a beautiful one. I love how the leaves of the lotus are on the surface of water and float. I added my link, Esha. Happy to join 🙂

Thank you so much for joining in, Parul. Thanks much for those lovely words. Watching it, I also learnt that one can bloom in the midst of so much muck and yet retain one’s purity and beauty!

I loved these lotuses when I sighted them in Kerala and saw plenty in Bangalore too!!! I dont find them in my part of country at all!!!

    • Esha M Dutta

Yes, you’re right, Shalz. They have loads in this part of the country … in Kerala, esp the backwaters, which are full of them. I absolutely love these and lose no opportunity to go clicking whenever I see them. 😀

There is always this fascination to watch a lotus and it is not an everyday affair. The reflection of the trees in the water makes the photo beautiful.

Thank you Anamika. You know I spent a long time admiring this still reflection on the water as it gave me so much peace! This was in a water enclosure inside the hotel lounge. I loved how it was standing so straight and thats how the pic happened.
