What magnificent animals these are! I wouldn’t want them to wait for me though. I can’t run fast enough 😉

Oh, yes, I know what you mean. They are so adept at hunting that they literally creep up to you and they are so stealthy they just catch you unawares. Of course, we wont be able to match their speed, running at 120 km/hour! Phew!!!

A wonderful capture and the title is just perfect. I wouldn’t hang around and wait for them, though.

Thanks, Alana. Glad you like the pic. Yes, I know, I wouldn’t either. Actually, while on the safari, we noticed these big cats were waiting for a long time for a buffalo that was feeding on the grass behind a tree and the tension in the air was so palpable, as if they were just about to strike.

What an amazing shot, Esha. Is this from the SA trip? I can’t wait to travel to that part of the world. 🙂
I am not joining this week. Published my gratitude list today but I can try to still join this Friday 😉

Thanks, Parul. Yes, it is from Garden Route Safari we did during our road trip in SA. You must visit this place. I can guarantee this will be a one of a kind experience for you! As for not joining in this week, that’s ok …I understand, Parul. No worries. Join in anytime that suits.I’d love to do a gratitude post too! Let’s see. 🙂

This is a lovely capture. In such photographs, timing is very important and looks like you have got it right here!!

Thanks a lot, Ramya. You comment sure made me feel happy about myself. To be honest, I had to take quite a few shots to get it right. The fact that these cats sat still, only made my task easier. 🙂
